
Building Outbound for the Biggest Digital Assets Media Company in Türkiye
Built the outbound engine for Kriptomeda from 0% to 20% of the total revenue through sales best practices, and a strong GTM Strategy.
When I first started as a BD specialist at Kriptomeda, my sales knowledge consisted of grinding to sell cigarettes when I was twelve (my very first hustle - sorry, Mom).
However, I did my homework. I had wanted to work in business development for a while, so I started reading and learning, much like I am doing right now, to understand what it takes to do proper outbound. Honestly, that mindset saved me.
Needing a job at that time saved me, too. I didn't just want it; I needed it. So, I applied proactively and reached out to the Head of Sales at Kriptomeda. Almost three years later, that same Head of Sales is still one of my main mentors and friends.
This is not to brag, but to show that I care about relationships and learned how to build them properly. Which is the third thing that saved me in that job.
After convincing Mustafa that I was ready for the role, I got the offer and went on with his guidance to built the outbound engine from scratch, generating 20% of the leads per month.
We planned the GTM, held strategy meetings, executed, and hit the KPIs every single time (Mustafa was very serious about his KPIs). I was promoted to Account Manager six months in.
To this day, I owe my sales experience to this job. Working with such great people gave me incredible perspective and expertise.
